Coursework - First shoot

Our first session of shooting was on Monday 21st November in Amara's bedroom. We used this location to film our Come Home Plea. We used this location because it provided the biggest space, and it had a homely feel. As Amara is playing the part of the missing girl, it makes sense to use her bedroom so it relates to her more.

We used a Nikon camera. We used this camera because it had low resolution which made the footage looked home filmed and original. We wanted this effect because we were filming a Come Home Plea and we wanted it to look realistic.

We set the camera up on a tripod near the biggest window in the room to get natural light. We did turn on the main light in the room which created a warm atmosphere to the room. We had a problem wit the camera and the tripod. The camera would not sit properly on the tripod stand. We rectified the problem by putting a quality street underneath the camera which held it in place.
